Anticipation is building among classic car aficionados as plans for the 2025 Back to the Bricks (BTTB) Sunset Promotional Tour are unveiled. This year, the tour celebrates its 15th anniversary with an exciting itinerary that promises unique experiences and enhanced engagement. The event will span from June 6 to June 11, featuring stops in picturesque towns across Michigan.
The tour will include overnight stays in West Branch, Ludington, Mount Pleasant, and a two-night stay in Traverse City. A new highlight this year is a daytime car show in Frankfort, adding diversity to the route. Local representatives from these cities expressed enthusiasm about hosting segments of the tour, showcasing their unique charm and fostering economic growth. BTTB Executive Director Amber Taylor highlighted the importance of maintaining participant engagement throughout the journey. "We've designed activities that allow participants to fully enjoy each stop while connecting with fellow enthusiasts," she said.
This annual event not only offers adventure and camaraderie for hundreds of classic car owners but also serves as a promotional platform for the main BTTB car show in Flint, scheduled for August. Moreover, it highlights the distinctive features of each participating city, contributing significantly to local economies. Early bird registration for the tour opens until April 1 at $75 per vehicle, increasing to $90 afterward. Limited to 250 cars due to space constraints, this ensures a personalized and intimate experience.
In addition to the summer tour, car lovers can look forward to the 10th annual Chrome and Ice Winter Indoor Car Show from February 7-9. Held at the Dort Federal Event Center in Flint, this event showcases a variety of vehicles and includes vendors, demonstrations, live entertainment, and an awards ceremony. New this year is the VIP Experience, offering exclusive access and special perks, with proceeds supporting the BTTB Youth Scholarship Fund. The spirit of community and support for future generations underscores the significance of these events, promoting both heritage and innovation in the world of classic cars.
