The Lions finished strong with a nine-game winning streak and captured their inaugural state trophy.

A standout performer for Cherry Hill West was sophomore Kirsten Gibson, who led all scorers with 16 points. Their defensive strategy focused on neutralizing Chatham’s perimeter shooting prowess. Under coach Dan Butler’s guidance, the Lions succeeded in pushing the Cougars away from the basket, limiting them to just two successful three-point attempts out of eleven tries.

The absence of key player Mia Semioli added further complexity to Chatham's challenge. Semioli sustained an injury during the semifinal match, leaving her sidelined.
