The highly anticipated crossover between Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) is set to launch alongside the Season 2 Reloaded update. This exciting collaboration introduces a variety of new content, including characters, maps, modes, weapons, and events. The TMNT-themed additions will be available as bundles or through an Event Pass, while players can look forward to two fresh maps and several gameplay enhancements. The update also brings improvements to Warzone and Zombies modes, ensuring there's something for everyone.
The Season 2 Reloaded update offers players an immersive experience with two brand-new maps designed to bring the TMNT universe into the game. Grind Ooze, a reimagined version of the classic Grind map from Black Ops II, features additional TMNT elements that enhance the gameplay. Additionally, Bullet, a fast-paced 2v2 map set on a moving train, adds a dynamic twist to combat scenarios. Alongside these maps, the limited-time mode TMNT Moshpit allows players to harness special Ninja Turtle abilities in various game modes, providing a unique twist on familiar gameplay mechanics.
In TMNT Moshpit, players can unleash their inner ninja with a range of powerful abilities that last for 30 seconds. These include increased health, rapid health regeneration, enhanced movement speed, and extended melee range. Players will also benefit from a flashing heads-up display (HUD) indicator showing enemy fire locations, unimpeded movement speed when shot at, and the ability to perform finishing moves from any direction. Each turtle has its own distinctive power: Splinter can teleport behind enemy lines, Leonardo gains stealth navigation perks, Donatello can see through walls and hack equipment, Michelangelo provides pizza boxes that boost team damage and ammo, and Raphael wields unlimited shurikens.
Beyond the TMNT crossover, the Season 2 Reloaded update enriches the game with new weapons, perks, and events. Players can equip themselves with innovative gear such as the D1.3 Sector secondary weapon, which fires saw blades, and the Belt-Fed attachment for LMGs, offering immense ammunition capacity but risking overheating. The introduction of the Hunter’s Instinct perk and Flyswatter wildcard further diversifies loadout options. Melee enthusiasts will enjoy a selection of one-hit elimination weapons like the skateboard, bo staff, double katanas, nunchaku, and sai blades.
To keep the excitement going, Activision has planned two significant events. Starting February 27th, the TMNT Event Pass offers both free and paid tracks filled with rewards, including new weapons, attachments, and skins. Following this, the Clover Craze event celebrates St. Patrick’s Day by introducing clover drops from eliminated enemies, which can be exchanged for exclusive rewards. In addition, the Zombies mode receives new TMNT powers and Directed Mode for The Tomb map. Finally, Gift Packs for Black History Month and Women’s History Month will introduce themed loading screens, emblems, and calling cards. Meanwhile, Warzone focuses on improving gameplay stability and addressing ongoing issues, ensuring a smoother experience for all players.
