In a significant announcement, BMW has confirmed the discontinuation of its iconic Z4 convertible. As a farewell tribute, the manufacturer will roll out a distinct Final Edition, exclusively crafted from the Z4 M40i variant. Enthusiasts will have the choice between an eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission or a more engaging six-speed manual gearbox. Opting for the manual transmission unlocks the Edition Handschalter Package, which includes specialized software tuning for the rear dampers, steering system, traction control, and the M Sport differential, promising an even more dynamic driving experience.
Under the hood, the Z4 Final Edition retains the powerful turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine, delivering a robust 382 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, consistent with other M40i models. Its exterior is distinguished by staggered 19-inch front and 20-inch rear Dual-Spoke Bicolor 800M wheels. BMW has meticulously curated the rest of the vehicle's aesthetics and features, leaving no further customization options to the customer.
Every Z4 Final Edition will be finished in the sophisticated BMW Individual Frozen Black metallic paint, complemented by the standard Shadowline Package.
