In the heart of spring, the Bethel Park Black Hawks have been turning heads with their exceptional play on the diamond. This past week, they demonstrated their dominance by sweeping Moon in a thrilling two-game series. On Tuesday, the Hawks edged out a 5-3 win after building a lead through strategic scoring in the third, fifth, and sixth innings. The following day, another closely contested game saw them prevail 4-3, thanks to key contributions from both pitchers and batters.

The standout performer for the Hawks was senior pitcher Dylan Schumacher, who overcame health challenges to secure a crucial victory, enhancing his season record to 4-1 with a commendable ERA of 1.56. Junior Mike Bruckner added a saving grace to the team's efforts. Offensively, seniors Owen White, Ethan Stanhoff, and Noah LeJeune played pivotal roles, while junior Tyler Stewart and sophomore Matthew Hughes bolstered the pitching lineup.
