Tanner Courtad, a 31-year-old, had a significant encounter before meeting Julianne Hough for dinner. He was spotted in the Dancing With the Stars ballroom during the November 19 live semifinal show, sitting next to Kelsey Anderson and cheering on Joey Graziadei. Courtad had been attending many DWTS season 33 episodes to support the 29-year-old former Bachelor. He expressed his pride for Graziadei through an Instagram post before the DWTS finale, highlighting his attention to detail and work ethic.

Julianne Hough's Surprise Performance

During the show, amid her hosting duties, Julianne Hough performed a surprise number set to the viral “Looking for a Man in Finance” TikTok sound. Afterward, she quipped that she was single and looking for a guy anywhere. Cohost Alfonso Ribeiro joked about interested suitors texting her first name for a date, riffing on the typical DWTS vote call. Hough added with a smile that it wouldn't work and not to do that.

Date Spotted at Sportsman's Lodge

On December 5, Hough and Courtad were spotted enjoying dinner at Sportsman's Lodge shopping center in Studio City, California. Courtad was one of Charity Lawson's suitors on The Bachelorette season 20 and had also appeared on Bachelor in Paradise in summer 2023, leaving single. Hough was previously married to Brooks Laich from 2017 to 2020 and publicly came out as “not straight” while still believing The One will be a man.

In September, on “The Jamie Kern Lima Show,” Hough said she feels she will end up with a man and wants to live and vibrate in her most authentic self to attract the right person. She is seeking a “partner” to build a life with and start a family. She added that as a master manifester, she doesn't want to put out exactly what she thinks she wants as she might get that.
