This renovation aims to elevate the dining experience and solidify Avanti's position as an all-day culinary destination.

Elevating Denver’s Dining Experience with Unprecedented Renovation

A Legacy of Innovation

Since its debut in July 2015, Avanti Food & Beverage has set the standard for gourmet food halls in metro Denver. Initially opening in Lower Highland, this pioneering venue quickly became a beacon for food enthusiasts. Over the years, Avanti has not only maintained its reputation but has also expanded to Boulder and Vail, establishing itself as a leader in the region’s culinary landscape. Each location offers a unique blend of diverse cuisines, innovative concepts, and vibrant atmospheres that cater to a wide range of tastes and preferences. The success of Avanti can be attributed to its commitment to quality and innovation. By introducing new dining concepts and supporting local entrepreneurs, Avanti has fostered a dynamic ecosystem where culinary creativity thrives. The food hall’s ability to adapt and evolve has allowed it to remain relevant and exciting for both locals and visitors alike.

A New Chapter Begins

In anticipation of its 10th anniversary, Avanti is embarking on a significant remodel of its flagship location at 3200 Pecos St. The project involves closing the first floor temporarily to undertake extensive renovations. This strategic move will result in three existing food stands—Pho King Rapidos, 22 Provisions, and Gorlami Pizza—closing their doors. However, these closures are part of a larger plan to introduce fresh, yet-to-be-named concepts that promise to enhance the overall dining experience. The renovation extends beyond just replacing food vendors. Avanti is investing in comprehensive upgrades, including new seating arrangements, modern flooring, and an advanced sound system. These enhancements aim to create a more inviting and immersive environment for guests. Travis Christ, the director of operations, emphasized the importance of these changes: “Our goal is to welcome guests from morning to night, transforming Avanti into a true all-day destination.”

Beyond the Renovation

While the first floor undergoes transformation, several popular spots remain open on the second floor. Amá Modern Mexican, Knockabout Burgers, and a bar continue to serve patrons Tuesday through Saturday. Quiero Arepas, a beloved mainstay, will return to the first floor once construction concludes in March. The reopening will mark a new chapter for Avanti, blending old favorites with exciting new additions. One of the most anticipated features of the remodel is the introduction of a coffee shop offering breakfast burritos and pastries. This addition addresses the growing demand for morning options and positions Avanti as a go-to spot for early risers and late-night diners alike. The versatility of the menu ensures that there’s something for everyone, no matter the time of day.

The Future of Denver’s Food Scene

As Avanti prepares for its grand reopening, the future looks bright for Denver’s food scene. The renovation not only signifies a physical change but also reflects the evolving nature of the city’s culinary culture. Avanti’s commitment to innovation and excellence sets a precedent for other food halls and eateries across the region. The closure of Pho King Rapidos, which once operated a successful food truck, is bittersweet. However, the owners have expressed plans to reopen elsewhere in Denver, ensuring that fans of their Vietnamese cuisine can still enjoy their favorite dishes. This transition highlights the resilience and adaptability of local businesses within the ever-changing food industry.Ultimately, Avanti’s remodel represents more than just a facelift; it symbolizes the continuous growth and evolution of Denver’s dining landscape. As the city continues to thrive, venues like Avanti play a crucial role in shaping the future of food and hospitality.
