"We have people that's in cars, multiple people in one car, we only giving out one box per car. So, for the next distribution we'll try to make sure we have enough," Tyler continued, acknowledging the need to expand the food supply for future distributions.

Just down the road, the local Rouses Supermarket was also playing a crucial role in the recovery efforts. The store was handing out fresh bags of ice and water to the community, recognizing the importance of providing basic necessities in the aftermath of the hurricane. "It's just what we do to give back to the community. You know, all our customers who give us patronage all throughout the year and just trying to give back," said store Director Tim Landry, highlighting the store's commitment to supporting its local community.
