Maureen Yuen brings a wealth of experience to the University of Nevada, Reno. She has held a tenured position at Drake University and has also served in roles at prestigious institutions such as Columbia University, Mercyhurst University, and SUNY Fredonia, where she was honored with the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching. Yuen's students have earned prestigious scholarships and assistantships at renowned institutions like the Juilliard School and Indiana University, further testament to her exceptional teaching abilities.Beyond her academic achievements, Yuen is a highly accomplished performer, engaging in solo and chamber music performances, master classes, and adjudication worldwide. Her dedication to showcasing works by underrepresented composers is evident in her recent solo recording, "Violin Music by Women: A Graded Anthology, Volumes 1 & 2," released by Albany Records in 2023.Enhancing Partnerships and Promoting Diversity
