An SUV allegedly tried to run over a group of people in Delhi on Tuesday over a dispute for Rs 5. The incident was captured on a video, which showed the SUV swerving on the road, charging towards three men standing on the side.
However, they managed to escape before the vehicle could hit them.
According to the police, the two men in the SUV had asked a man, who owns a small eatery, for two glasses of water on Tuesday morning.

The man told the police that when the people in the SUV were asked to pay Rs 5 for the water, they refused, which led to an altercation and assault, police said.
The eatery owner said he was thrashed by the accused. According to the police, the complainant also retaliated during the fight and a few other people got involved in support of the eatery owner.
After that, the SUV tried to swerve and hit the people involved in the fight before fleeing the spot, as seen in the video.
The eatery owner was later taken to a hospital after the incident where doctors found no visible injuries.
Meanwhile, a case of criminal assault and rash driving was filed against the accused and the police said they were searching for the SUV.
